Fremont Staff, students, and families
The weather tomorrow is looking rather frightful, so I am making this announcement so it can be delightful. The safety of our students, and staff is very important to me. The morning drive in looks like it would be ok. With the winter storm watch starting at 10 AM with snow, freezing rain, and wind lasting until Saturday at 1 PM. The afternoon drive could be treacherous. We don’t want to put our students and staff in harms way.
Tomorrow will be our annual Build a snowman day for Fremont Community Schools.

Elementary & High School: There has been an adjustment in the lunch menu for today and tomorrow.
Wednesday 01/10: Walking Taco with Refried Beans or Sandwich: Chicken Patty
Thursday 01/11: Pork BBQ with Tater Tots or Sandwich: Pizza Patty
Friday will remain the same.
Flight of the Eagle
Seven and a half years ago we started the “Flight of the Eagle Awards”. Every month the principals have chosen a student or faculty member to receive the award. Those selected attended a school board meeting & Dr. Stitt presents them with a framed certificate and talks about why they were selected.
We are going to expand the nominations and ask our Students, Parents and Community members to help select a monthly winner from the entire faculty and staff list. The faculty/staff member with the most nominations will be that month’s winner.

FCTA Dinner
They will be selling tickets at the high school basketball games this Friday and Saturday. People can also purchase tickets at the offices of each school once we are back on the 8th.

We will be changing menus for Wednesday and Thursday. That means tomorrow(Wednesday) is birthday meal with uncrustable, chips, and sidekick. The sandwich will be bosco. Thursday will be ham with cheesy potatoes and the sandwich will be a hamburger.
EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES 12-19-2023
Fremont Elementary students raised $1,266.87 for their annual Christmas Coin Drive! They chose to buy items for the Steuben County Animal Shelter.
Kindergarten teachers Janelle Spengler and Leanne Lies organized the event.
