Eagle Chatter 2/3/25

20 students at Fremont Elementary participated in the 2025 Fremont Elementary Science Fair last week. Students working primarily at home took on the task of researching, testing, and displaying their amazing Science Fair projects and reports. Wednesday, January 22nd all 20 students presented their projects to three volunteer judges from the Steuben County Soil and Water District and the Clear Lake Conservancy. Monday, January 27th, awards were given to those students that completed the process. Congratulations to all of our participants this year.
Ten students will be continuing their Science Fair journey and will be competing at the Northeastern Indiana Tri-State Regional Science Fair at Trine University on March 15th.
Well done Fremont Elementary students!

January 31st Hat Day!
Bring a dollar and wear a hat for Leukemia!

Life has a way of bringing expected and unexpected physical and mental health hurdles into our students’ lives. Whether you see it coming or not, at the heart of every parent, teacher, and healthcare provider is the desire for quick health solutions. Often though, getting to the right place quickly can be hard to navigate.
Schools recognize the importance of getting your child the right health services quickly with quality healthcare providers in your area, no matter your ability to pay. The Head to Toe program does that. By answering a few simple questions on the questionnaire below, your school health team can help you find the right healthcare provider to offer quick, high-quality care. These forms can be found in any FCS office.

Fremont Friends and Families
With this Arctic blast, it is going to be extremely cold the next few days. Since it is too cold to build a snowman or even play outside. Today I want you to send me a picture of your Arctic Air Activities. A picture of you reading all snuggled up, baking some nice warm cookies or maybe playing an inside game. Send the pictures to bstitt@fremonteagles.us or attach them to our Arctic Air Activities Facebook post.
As always stay safe and stay warm. A decision for Tuesday will go out this afternoon. If we do not have school it will be an eLearning Day.

We’ve all been in situations where a different perspective provided a better view of how to navigate them. Where to turn for healthy perspectives is often the biggest question. Bowen Health and your school know the importance of offering quality options to help your child successfully navigate life. That’s why we are happy to introduce a new online video therapy choice for students.
Better View offers online video therapy for students during the school day with parental permission. Being able to talk to a local therapist privately online at school is a game-changer. This easy access to a Better View provides students with real solutions in real time to gain a new perspective and help them navigate their best lives. If you are interested, please fill out the questionnaire below. These forms can also be found in any FCS office.
