Each Indiana high school can honor up to four high school juniors as Rising Stars of
Indiana for their academic achievement. This program was designed as a recognition and
achievement program that helps increase visibility for juniors for scholarships and other accolades.
Each Rising Star receives a certificate of achievement. This award is put on by the
Indiana Association of School Principals.
