REFERENDUM

On May 7, 2024, residents of the Fremont School Corporation area will be able to shape the future of our schools, students, and community. This will be done by voting on the renewal of the 2015 operating referendum. The original referendum, supported by our community, was set at just over 19.6 cents per $100 of assessed property value. The proposed renewal seeks a reduced rate of 0.15 cents per $100 of assessed property value - NOT market value.

Thanks to the district's responsible management of your tax dollars, some residents may see no change or even a reduction in their school tax levy. You can know the real impact on the school tax levy of your property

Fremont Community Schools has had one of the lowest Tax Rates in the State of Indiana the last seven years. Even with our Referendum Tax Rate!!!

REMEMBER
The referendum amount only affects the school tax portion of your property tax bill.
