Dear Fremont Residents,
Due to the forecasted high temperatures, a cooling station will be available at the Superintendent's Office, located at 1100 West Toledo Street.
The cooling station will be open:
Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Thursday: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Residents are welcome to stop by to cool down during the heat. Please check on family, friends, and neighbors who may be vulnerable to extreme temperatures.

I am reaching out to let you know that Senator Banks will be hosting a Service Academy Day on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at the Indiana War Memorial in Indianapolis. We would love to have participation from your students at this event. Our flyer is attached to this email.
This is a great opportunity for students interested in attending one of the five U.S. Service Academies after high school to learn more about the academies and ask questions. While this event is geared toward current high school students, it is open to students of all ages and their parents. Doors open at 11:00 am, and the briefing will start at Noon.
The event will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at:

Representatives from the U.S. Service Academies and Senator Banks’ staff will be available to discuss the application and nomination process.
