Our FHS Boys Tennis team won their second ever Sectional Championship on Friday night! 🏆 These boys are head to Carroll HS tomorrow for REGIONALS! Matches begin at 4:15pm. 🎾 Colten Guthrie (undefeated in sectional play! Currently ranked 5th in FHS career wins!) 🎾 Tyler Miller (currently ranked 6th in FHS career wins!) 🎾 Ryan Baker (undefeated in sectional play! Broke the 3 singles record!) 🎾 Zander Reetz 🎾 Jake Hilvers 🎾 Trevor Reetz (undefeated in sectional play! Beat the 2D record!) 🎾 Charlie Senecal (undefeated in sectional play! Over 160 Fremont High School students will earn college dual credit by the end of this school year. This semester we will have 119 students enrolled in at least one dual enrollment course through Trine. In total, our students have the potential to earn 650 hours of college credit just during the first semester. That's over $300,000 worth of Trine credit through classes taught by six FHS teachers. The 25 students attending IMPACT Institute will earn over 400 college credits from IVY Tech and Vincennes University.

Tonight is the second FREE athletic event for students who bought the spirit shirt from the FHS Student Council! Wear your shirts and come cheer on the Volleyball team as they take on Lakeland!

🦷 The dentist is coming to our school! 🦷 The School Smiles on-site dental program provides on-site dental care at our school for ALL students that signup to participate. The dental team will set up inside our school and they accept Medicaid, private insurance, offer self-pay rates and grants through their foundation. Fremont High School has been selected as one of the high school sports programs to receive funds from the 2024 McDonald’s High School Sports Digital Fundraiser! On October 2nd, local area McDonald’s Restaurants will be donating 10% of all digital sales made in the McDonald’s App to our High School Athletic Department. Due to the rain on Saturday, the remainder of the Boys' Tennis conference tournament has been moved to tonight at Angola. Come watch the Eagles compete for the Conference tournament title, and cheer on the team as they compete for all conference team! Colten Guthrie will play against Angola competing for 3rd in conference Tyler Miller will play against Westview to compete for 3rd in conference Ryan Baker will compete against Angola in competition for 1st in conference Our one doubles team of Zander Reetz and Jake Hilvers will compete against Westview for 3rd in conference Our two doubles team of Trevor Reetz and Charlie Senecal will compete against Fairfield for 1st place in conference! Play is expected to begin around 4:30. Admission is free, so we hope to see you there! Tennis sectionals will be Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday at Angola with a 5:00 start time.

Fremont High School is proud to announce that Olivia Dirig has been named a Commended student in the 2025 National Merit Scholarship Program. About 34,000 Commended students throughout the nation are being recognized for their exceptional academic promise. Commended Students placed among the top 50,000 students who entered the 2025 competition by taking the 2023 PSAT. "Those being named Commended Students have demonstrated outstanding potential for academic success" commented the NMSC. "These students represent a valuable national resource; recognizing their accomplishments, as well as the key role their schools play in their academic development, is vital to the advancement of educational excellence in our nation. We hope that this recognition will help broaden their education opportunities and encourage them as they continue their pursuit of academic success."
