The FYCO Summer Food Program aims to provide supplemental food for low-income Fremont Community Schools students during the summer months. No proof of income is required—if you need it, you're welcome to apply! We have two initiatives we are running this year.
The first food program is a "backpack" of food for each week of the summer. Each bag contains approximately 11 pounds of food and our hope is you can pick all of the weeks up at one time.
The second program will be two food distributions:
First Event: Shop indoors on Thursday, June 18th from 5-7pm OR pick up a box on Saturday, June 20th from 9am-10am
Second Event: Pick up a box on Saturday, July 18th (during/after Day of Play event) 10am-2pm
These services are completely free of charge, but you must sign up at the link no later than June 4th: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeR4yE0tZmKjE9erMg-v5zbOse1h9CMgavPrkOxMK0FQ7tUAw/viewform

"Youth fades, love droops, the leaves of friendships fall; A mother's secret hope outlives them all."

Thank you Ruoff Mortgage for providing donuts to all our buildings this morning. Happy Teacher Appreciation Week! 🍩

We're thankful for Ms. Foster & Mrs. Worman! 🩺

Spirit Shirt Night 🦅

We loved welcoming our future freshmen at the High School! 🦅
8th graders got a firsthand look at high school life with tours led by our awesome Student Council, plus time to connect with clubs, sports teams, and extracurricular groups. From classrooms to conversations, they got a real feel for what’s ahead!
We wrapped up the day with a Q&A session where students could ask honest questions and hear directly from current high schoolers—helping ease those nerves and build excitement for next year.
We can’t wait to see all they accomplish when they walk these halls as freshmen soon! 🦅

Today we recognize school nutrition professionals and the difference they make every day!
Between preparing healthy meals for FCS students, adhering to strict nutrition standards, navigating student food allergies, and offering service with a smile, school nutrition professionals are true heroes.
Thank you for all you do!
