Welcome back from Spring Break. We are 8 weeks away from GRADUATION! One of the time-honored traditions we have at Fremont is showing the Senior Slide Show at the Senior Awards Program.

The deadline for submitting a baby picture and senior (or current picture) was before spring break. Numerous messages and reminders were sent to each senior leading up to that deadline.

We are still missing several pictures. Please check with your senior to see if they submitted any pictures. If they have not - Mrs. Dirig will happily accept them (digitally or actual photograph) through the end of this week (4/3).

Thank you for your assistance.

Thanks to the generosity and support of our students and staff, FHS student body raised $810.54 to donate to Kate’s Kart, an organization dedicated to providing books to children during hospital stays. To make this achievement even more special, we received a generous last-minute donation of $100—bringing our grand total to an incredible $910.54. Thank you to everyone who participated, donated, and supported this meaningful cause. We are so proud to be an Eagle! 🦅

Culinary students really showcased their skills before heading into Spring Break in their Flavor Profiles Lab!

Each team researched, developed, and created a dish that highlighted their assigned flavor profile, and the results were creative and delicious. Their teamwork, confidence, and growth in the kitchen were clear in the work they produced!

📢 Penny Wars Update! Good news — Penny Wars has been extended until Thursday! That means more time to drop pennies in your favorite jar and sabotage the competition with silver coins and bills. Every coin helps support Kate’s Kart, an amazing organization that delivers books to kids in the hospital to brighten their day. 📚 Students — keep the friendly competition going and let the penny wars continue until Thursday!

🥧Penny Wars are happening in the high school! 🥧

The race to get pied at the Seniors vs. Staff Basketball Game (March 20) is heating up!

Currently in the lead: Mr. Camp & Mrs. Harris
Closing the gap: Mrs. Tuttle, Mr. Kinsey, & Mrs. Batt

Remember: Only the TOP 4 teachers get pied! 🥧

Drop your spare change in the jars in the office or during lunch to change the standings. Every coin counts!

All funds raised support Kate’s Kart, bringing books to kids in hospitals. 📚

Check those backpacks, cars, couches, and pockets—then make your coins count!

Fremont Robotics Shines This Season

Fremont Robotics enjoyed a standout season, demonstrating strong teamwork, creativity, and
technical skill. The team celebrated their best tournament finish this year, placing 3rd overall at the
Culver Academy tournament — a testament to countless hours of practice, strategic thinking, and
steady performance under pressure.
Their success is especially notable given the limitations they faced, including constrained resources
and limited build time. Despite these challenges, the team remained focused, adapted quickly, and
delivered smart solutions that impressed competitors and judges alike.
In addition to the impressive finish, Fremont Robotics earned the VEX Judges' Award. The VEX
Judges' Award recognizes teams for special attributes, exemplary effort, or perseverance that stand
out to judges. It is a required award in VEX (VIQRC/V5RC) to honor unique accomplishments that
may not fit traditional technical awards, often highlighting teamwork, professionalism, and
student-centeredness. Judges awarded Fremont Robotics for their innovative design, clear
communication of design choices, and strong demonstration of team values.
These accomplishments reflect Fremont Robotics' resilience and commitment to growth and
excellence. Coaches, mentors, and students alike are proud of the progress made this season and
excited to build on this momentum for next year.
