Wrestling Clinic Information

Mrs. Batt's Botany/Zoology class visited the Toledo Zoo on October 4th to serve as an introduction to phylums before starting Zoology in the second quarter. While at the zoo, students were tasked with visiting exhibits and completing a picture scavenger hunt. It was a beautiful day, and students enjoyed checking out the new exhibits, and visiting old favorites.
During this semester class, students learn about types of plants, testing soil, the nine animal phyla, and how animals interact with their environment, among other things. Mrs. Swagger's Applied Skills class also joined in on the day.
This trip was made possible by school funds and donor monies.

ATTENTION: All Middle School and High School athletes in WINTER sports 🏀🤼

FIST, a youth philanthropic group in Steuben County, is starting their can drive this week in the Elementary and Middle School. The different classes in the Elementary School will compete to see who can bring in the most cans with the winning class receiving a pizza party during lunch. The Elementary drive will run from now until November 1 and the Middle School's will go until the end of this week, October 25th.
Also, on October 28th, High Schoolers have the opportunity to go out around the Fremont community and trick-or-treat for canned goods instead of candy. On the 28th any High Schoolers interested in participating will meet in the High School parking lot from 5:45 to 6:00 pm before they go out to collect cans.
Make sure you stock up on canned goods and nonperishable items and send them in with your student, or be ready for the 28th incase a high schooler out trick-or-treating comes and asks you for cans.
All of the cans raised during these events will go to FYCO (Fremont Youth and Community Outreach) located at the Fremont Community Church on N Coldwater St.

We were excited to have T-Mobile at the Friday night football game representing their store from the Angola, IN location. T-Mobile is proud to support the communities they serve. Friday Night 5G Lights is the latest way T-Mobile is showing its support for small towns. In April 2021, T-Mobile rolled out 5G for All, a commitment to bring the most advanced wireless services to all of the country, not just big cities and their suburbs.
Now, a little more than three years later, that vision has transformed into reality. As the nation's largest and fastest 5G network, T-Mobile is now the wireless provider for rural America, delivering impactful benefits like: expanded coverage, home internet, retail expansion, Hometown Grants, Project 10Million, Coverage above and beyond.
They presented Fremont High School this One Thousand Dollar check as part of their fall football program.
Thank you T-Mobile, for coming here to celebrate with us and Congratulations Fremont High School!

Fremont has two student's enrolled in the Fire Science program this year, Elizabeth Baker and Alexis Combs(front right).
Elizabeth and Alexis are working on their fire fighting credentials and earning dual credit. These two Fremont seniors attend regular classes in the morning and firefighter training in the afternoon. We could not be more proud of their hard work and dedication.

This semester we will have 119 students enrolled in at least one dual enrollment course through Trine. In total, our students have the potential to earn 650 hours of college credit just during the first semester. That's over $300,000 worth of Trine credit through classes taught by six FHS teachers. The 25 students attending IMPACT Institute will earn over 400 college credits from IVY Tech and Vincennes University.
