Due to the rain on Saturday, the remainder of the Boys' Tennis conference tournament has been moved to tonight at Angola. Come watch the Eagles compete for the Conference tournament title, and cheer on the team as they compete for all conference team! Colten Guthrie will play against Angola competing for 3rd in conference Tyler Miller will play against Westview to compete for 3rd in conference Ryan Baker will compete against Angola in competition for 1st in conference Our one doubles team of Zander Reetz and Jake Hilvers will compete against Westview for 3rd in conference Our two doubles team of Trevor Reetz and Charlie Senecal will compete against Fairfield for 1st place in conference! Play is expected to begin around 4:30. Admission is free, so we hope to see you there! Tennis sectionals will be Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday at Angola with a 5:00 start time.

Fremont High School has been selected as one of the high school sports programs to receive funds from the 2024 McDonald’s High School Sports Digital Fundraiser! On October 2nd, local area McDonald’s Restaurants will be donating 10% of all digital sales made in the McDonald’s App to our High School Athletic Department. Fremont High School is proud to announce that Olivia Dirig has been named a Commended student in the 2025 National Merit Scholarship Program. About 34,000 Commended students throughout the nation are being recognized for their exceptional academic promise. Commended Students placed among the top 50,000 students who entered the 2025 competition by taking the 2023 PSAT. "Those being named Commended Students have demonstrated outstanding potential for academic success" commented the NMSC. "These students represent a valuable national resource; recognizing their accomplishments, as well as the key role their schools play in their academic development, is vital to the advancement of educational excellence in our nation. We hope that this recognition will help broaden their education opportunities and encourage them as they continue their pursuit of academic success."

Our students work with Katie Weicht, a Goodwill student transition coordinator, to work on post-secondary transitions and employability skills. Three of our students participated in a summer internship and below are some pictures of them out in the community, working at the animal shelter and Rural King.
