ALL after school activities will be cancelled for tonight, Monday, January 22. The Board Meeting scheduled for this evening will be cancelled as well and rescheduled for next Monday, January 29th. Time TBD.

Fremont Community Schools will be in session following our 2 hour delay, Thursday, January 18th. Middle School classes will begin at 9:50am. Elementary & High School classes will begin at 10:00am.

If you are listed as a parent or guardian for a student, then you should automatically be enrolled to receive messages from us. The phone number on file must be a cell phone number to receive these notifications. If you are not listed as a parent or guardian you can download our app to receive notifications through that platform. If you are not receiving messages, or at some point have opted out and would like to start receiving them, you can text the word "start" to 98900. As a reminder, we will only send out important information such as delays and closings through our texting service. This platform is not used for spamming purposes. FCS Parents and Guardians Our next School Board meeting will be held on Monday, January 22, 2024 in the High School Auditorium. During this meeting the school board will discuss referendum information. Your participation and support is enthusiastically welcomed. We would love to see a large audience at this meeting. Fremont Staff, students, and families The weather tomorrow is looking rather frightful, so I am making this announcement so it can be delightful. The safety of our students, and staff is very important to me. The morning drive in looks like it would be ok. With the winter storm watch starting at 10 AM with snow, freezing rain, and wind lasting until Saturday at 1 PM. The afternoon drive could be treacherous. We don’t want to put our students and staff in harms way. Tomorrow will be our annual Build a snowman day for Fremont Community Schools. Please send me your build a snow man day pictures.

All after school activities at the middle school are cancelled. This includes all practices and the musical rehearsal. The Middle School Musical parent meeting will be tomorrow after rehearsal.

The FMS Winter One Sports Award program scheduled for today (01-09-24) has been postponed. We will let you know when the make up date will be.

Fremont middle school is moving the spelling bee until tomorrow at 8 A.M.?

Flight of the Eagle Seven and a half years ago we started the “Flight of the Eagle Awards”. Every month the principals have chosen a student or faculty member to receive the award. Those selected attended a school board meeting & Dr. Stitt presents them with a framed certificate and talks about why they were selected. We are going to expand the nominations and ask our Students, Parents and Community members to help select a monthly winner from the entire faculty and staff list. FCTA Dinner They will be selling tickets at the high school basketball games this Friday and Saturday. People can also purchase tickets at the offices of each school once we are back on the 8th.
