Good afternoon!

I am reaching out to let you know that Senator Banks will be hosting a Service Academy Day on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at the Indiana War Memorial in Indianapolis. We would love to have participation from your students at this event. Our flyer is attached to this email.

This is a great opportunity for students interested in attending one of the five U.S. Service Academies after high school to learn more about the academies and ask questions. While this event is geared toward current high school students, it is open to students of all ages and their parents. Doors open at 11:00 am, and the briefing will start at Noon.

The event will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at:

Representatives from the U.S. Service Academies and Senator Banks’ staff will be available to discuss the application and nomination process.

“The Colts Skills Camp is a one-day skill development program, hosted in collaboration with All-Pro DeForest Buckner at the Colts Facility on Sunday, May 31st. This event is open to all kids in grades 2nd-8th grade, and athletes will have the opportunity to improve their skills while being coached by Colts players, Colts alumni, and local high school and college coaches. The cost for the event is $50, and all attendees will receive prizes, giveaways, and 2 tickets to a Colts preseason game. Fremont High School Senior Michael Fisher presented his Eagle Scout Project. Congratulations Michael!!!

Mrs. Wagner’s Speech students created this colorful tree by answering the question of the day. These questions were about things they are thankful for, their favorite things, and good things that happened to them!

They did an escape room during their last session, and they all escaped!

Class of 2026 really said “we live here now” 😴🏕️🍩
Tents on the lawn, breakfast, and the whole school was officially “for sale.”

🚨 Reminder: All negative lunch accounts must be paid in full before the end of the school year. 🚨
We currently have 183 negative lunch accounts. Notices have been sent to parents.

The FYCO Summer Food Program aims to provide supplemental food for low-income Fremont Community Schools students during the summer months. No proof of income is required—if you need it, you're welcome to apply! We have two initiatives we are running this year.

The first food program is a "backpack" of food for each week of the summer. Each bag contains approximately 11 pounds of food and our hope is you can pick all of the weeks up at one time.

The second program will be two food distributions:
First Event: Shop indoors on Thursday, June 18th from 5-7pm OR pick up a box on Saturday, June 20th from 9am-10am
Second Event: Pick up a box on Saturday, July 18th (during/after Day of Play event) 10am-2pm

Congratulations to Brayden Gebhart who completed two years in welding and Ian Hawkins who completed two years in Marine Services at IMPACT.

Brayden will be working at LaGrange Products, while Ian will work for Lake Drive Marina following Graduation.
