Good Morning Fremont Families, We have had a few questions regarding our texting service over the last few days. If you are listed as a parent or guardian for a student, then you should automatically be enrolled to receive messages from us. The phone number on file must be a cell phone number to receive these notifications. If you are not listed as a parent or guardian you can download our app to receive notifications through that platform. If you are not receiving messages, or at some point have opted out and would like to start receiving them, you can text the word "start" to 98900. As a reminder, we will only send out important information such as delays and closings through our texting service. This platform is not used for spamming purposes. FCS Parents and Guardians Our next School Board meeting will be held on Monday, January 22, 2024 in the High School Auditorium. During this meeting the school board will discuss referendum information. Your participation and support is enthusiastically welcomed. We would love to see a large audience at this meeting. Due to dangerously cold temps, Fremont Community Schools will be closed for Tuesday, January 16. The forecast is -25 windchill tomorrow. No eLearning for Tuesday. Be careful if traveling, the backroads are icy. If you know anyone that is need of a warming station. FCS Superintendent's office will be open 8-4.

Fremont Staff, students, and families The weather tomorrow is looking rather frightful, so I am making this announcement so it can be delightful. The safety of our students, and staff is very important to me. The morning drive in looks like it would be ok. With the winter storm watch starting at 10 AM with snow, freezing rain, and wind lasting until Saturday at 1 PM. The afternoon drive could be treacherous. We don’t want to put our students and staff in harms way. Tomorrow will be our annual Build a snowman day for Fremont Community Schools. Please send me your build a snow man day pictures.

Elementary & High School: There has been an adjustment in the lunch menu for today and tomorrow. Wednesday 01/10: Walking Taco with Refried Beans or Sandwich: Chicken Patty Thursday 01/11: Pork BBQ with Tater Tots or Sandwich: Pizza Patty Friday will remain the same.

All after school activities at the middle school are cancelled. This includes all practices and the musical rehearsal. The Middle School Musical parent meeting will be tomorrow after rehearsal.

The FMS Winter One Sports Award program scheduled for today (01-09-24) has been postponed. We will let you know when the make up date will be.
