Today, part of Fremont, including the elementary, and high school were affected by a power issue. The teachers and students did a wonderful job the last hour and a half of school.
NIPSCO has been called and are working to solve this issue.

Possible future architects? Maybe designers? The class sketched out their plan and carried it through to their masterpieces. Some even attempted furniture. 😲
As we “traveled around the world,” we stopped in Germany and created Advent chains, gingerbread houses, Playdoh, and men with a little bit of bling! I’m fairly certain this may have been their favorite “destination.” The hardest part may have been limiting the taste tests!
Monday evening the Middle School & High School Choir performed a Christmas Concert for their Families and Friends, directed by Ms. Fowler.

8th Grade Fourth Amendment Mock Trial...
The FMS 8th Graders in Mr. Kuespert's class participated in a mock trial of a Fourth Amendment search-and-seizure case. The student learned about how a trial was conducted, how to serve as impartial jurors, and what vocabulaty terms might be used in a court case and their meanings. The result? Four juries said not guilty and two juries were hung. No guilty verdicts.




NHS wrapped 65 gifts for the Lakeland residents🎄

Our Elementary Coin Drive raised over $1400 for the residents of Lakeland Nursing Home. Each resident will receive a cozy blanket for Christmas from the Elementary students🎄


The FHS 3D art class made ceramic mugs in class and today they got to use their functional pottery to drink hot chocolate for the last day of school!
Mrs. Thomas’ class went around the elementary and high school spreading Christmas cheer to all with some Christmas Caroling! We wish every a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
The middle school held their annual hallway decorating competition. Community police officers and firefighters came in to judge. 5th grade took first place with the theme Elf.
8th grade took second place in the middle school hallway decorating competition with the them Frozen.
7th grade placed fourth in the hallway decorating competition with the theme Polar Express.
6th grade placed third in the hallway decorating competition with the theme The North Pole.
